Sometimes, if it manages to go through with the printing, it will still continue to pull an extra page after the printing job is done and get stuck again. Nevertheless, If there is paper in the tray already, It will pull the paper half way through and then it will stop and the series of error messages mentioned above will come up. The only good thing is that (as long as I remove the paper from the tray first)I can send a printing command, wait for the "out of paper" error message to come up, put the exact number of pages I need to print the document in the tray, reset the printer, and the document will print just fine. I went to the HP customer support website and followed their suggestions until I reached " Call HP ". Until a paper-clip leaped to its death, inside, and broke a crucial small plastic part, which caused the oldie-but-goodie to barf paper continuously. Both lights would come up on the printer ( the paper/cartridge lights ) and a "printer cartridge is stalled" error would come up on the computer screen followed by a " paper jammed " error. I had used a HP PSC 1315 All-in-One Printer on several Macs for some years - and been generally pleased with it. I have a HP PSC 1315 that is malfunctioning. ![]()
